Why exchange currency with FCD?
It's simple. You'll save money. The best thing about using Foreign Currency Direct, rather than a bank or building society, is that all we do is currency broking. And because we constantly handle very high volumes of currency, we deal at commercial rates, which we pass on to our customers.
Our profits are made from the small margin between buying and selling, not by charging you commission or giving you a poor exchange rate.
* A priority international transfer will cost £15.00 for transactions under £50,000. Above that value we allow one free transfer per transaction.
The best rates and service
Even if you have never carried out a foreign currency transaction before, you'll find it simple and straightforward. Your personal account manager will guide you expertly and 'hold your hand' throughout the currency exchange process.
And because we always use commercial exchange rates, you're assured of a great deal. Depending on the transaction, our rates are up to 4% better than those offered by high street banks and you won't have to pay any commission charges or 'hidden' fees.
* A priority international transfer will cost £15.00 for transactions under £50,000. Above that value we allow one free transfer per transaction.
Do you need the currency now or later?
A currency transaction is known as a contract, and there are different types of contracts for different purposes. A forward contract, for example, is an agreement to buy or sell a specific amount of currency at an agreed rate, on or before a set date. That type might be used for stage payments on an overseas property that is being built.
Talk to us about your needs and we’ll guide you in selecting the most efficient and cost-effective contract for your specific objectives.
Register and you’re ready to go
To benefit from our expert advice and carry out currency transactions, you'll need to open an account with us - which is free. When you have registered, you'll have your own named personal account manager here in our office. They will be your direct contact any time you need currency-related advice or information or want to buy or sell currency.
