Foreign Currency Direct are an FCA authorised international payments company at the early stages of the next stage in their growth journey. Recently acquired by a renowned private equity group, our ambition is to become the leading foreign exchange and international payments company in the UK.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to join our successful CRM team. This entry-level position will suit an enthusiastic, motivated, tenacious and determined individual looking to develop a career in sales, specifically within the Foreign Exchange markets or Financial Services.

The CRM team’s main responsibility is to generate business through existing and new sources as the first point of contact for prospective clients to the business. This role will focus on communicating with leads and clients in the current database to identify new opportunities and ensure up to date and open communication channels are present.

Working in an energetic and lively environment the successful candidate must have excellent phone manner, a good work ethic and some experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Being the first point of contact for new enquiries generated by some of the company’s key channels including affiliate recommendations (UK and overseas teams) and Marketing.
  • Working through the company database to identify new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Engaging existing clients and ensuring they are receiving the appropriate level of communication from the business.
  • Liaising with fellow CRM, dealers and affiliates to highlight areas of current and future opportunity
  • Ensure a full, detailed analysis of the client to ensure the highest possible chance of future engagement with Foreign Currency Direct plc.
  • Building on recommendations from both the UK team and overseas teams and Marketing channels.
  • Ensure the values of FCD are represented at this important ‘front-line’ area of the business

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Good level of education with minimum passes in English and Maths GCSEs. The role involves strong communication skills and English is requirement to present information. A good telephone manner is a must, along with enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ attitude, as is the ability to work well as part of team liaising and providing information to key elements within the business. Ideally the candidate will be self-motivated and energetic with a positive approach. Ideal candidates should have some experience in a customer facing role and an ability to demonstrate the above points. Full training will be provided.

 

REMUNERATION

Year 1 O.T.E £20-27k
