We are currently recruiting talented and ambitious individuals to join our Affiliate Relationship Management team. The role involves sourcing referring partners across the globe and building close working relationships with these affiliates in order to generate new business. This is an integral position within the fastest growing department in the business and will provide someone with the opportunity to make a real impact on the continued successes of Foreign Currency Direct plc.

The successful candidate will join a team of some of the most experienced and talented individuals in the foreign exchange industry and will be working in a lively environment, so good organisation and a strong work ethic are a must. Working in the Affiliate Relationship Management team involves travel to meet with partners, predominantly in our key markets of France, Spain and Portugal so experience of holding meetings with key accounts is desirable.

This role will suit candidates with experience in business development and account management and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career in the financial services sector, one of the biggest contributing sectors to the UK’s economy.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and researching potential referring partners, these can include real estate companies, removal firms and emigration specialists.
  • Using our main selling points to encourage potential referring partners to sign up as an affiliate with Foreign Currency Direct plc.
  • Build a strong working relationship with the affiliates in order to receive referrals from them.
  • Oversee the distribution of new leads generated to the trading team and ensure the relevant information is passed on.
  • Provide regular updates to the affiliates and look to identify every opportunity to generate new business.

Skills and competencies

A good level of education to a degree (desirable) or equivalent, with passes in Maths and English GCSE’s a minimum. A good telephone manner is a must, along with great communication skills and the ability to work as part of team liaising with both the traders and affiliates. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic and energetic with a hard-working attitude and a real desire to succeed. Ideal candidates should have some proven experience in a business development role, the ability to speak a foreign language and an ability to demonstrate the above points.
