Competition terms and conditions
It is a condition of entry that the rules are accepted as final and that the entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by the rules. The rules may be obtained at www.currencies.co.uk /prediction or by sending a stamped addressed envelope requesting the rules to Foreign Currency Direct plc (FCD), Currencies Mews Badminton Court, Old Amersham Bucks HP7 0DD.
The conditions are:
- Entrants must be over 18 years. Employees, officers and directors of FCD or any of its group of companies or anyone connected with the competition, or any member of their respective families (including spouses, co-habitants, children, siblings, parents or grandparents) are not permitted to enter.
- By entering the competition, entrants resident outside the UK confirm that they are lawfully able to participate in the competition.
- Entrants may make one entry per household/email , by correctly completing the required fields. . Fraudulent, multiple or incorrectly completed entries will not be accepted.
- Entries must be made by people visiting or exhibiting the A Place in the Sun exhibition at London’s Earls Court between the 11th and 13th March 2011.
- The winners will be judged by reference to the predicted exchange rate held in a sealed envelope, retained by a Foreign Currency Direct employee. Winners will be announced at the end of each day of the exhibition and in the event of a tie the winner will be chosen by reference to the time that the first correct entry was received or by a panel of judges as the entrant who, in the judges opinion, was closest to the correct rate. The decision of the judges is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners will be contacted within 7 days of the decision being made; winners name may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope requesting such details to FCD within 3 months after the date of the decision.
- Entrants hereby agree that, if they win, FCD will be able to publish their name, age, photograph and the town or country of their residence, for the purposes of announcing the winner of the draw and for related advertising and promotions.
- The winners will each receive £500; FCD may substitute the prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize is not transferrable. The winner is under no obligation to purchase currency with FCD.
- FCD reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the competition without notice prior to the closing date.
- By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules.
- The competition is run by Foreign Currency Direct plc, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 5082565 and having its registered office at Currencies Mews, Badminton Court, Old Amersham, Bucks HP7 0DD.
Data Protection
By entering into this competition, you give FCD access to the personal information that you supply on the entry form and you agree to allow FCD to store, process and deal with your details in order to administer the competition and to notify the winner. By indicating your consent on the entry form, you have further agreed that we may use your details to contact you with offers of other products or services that you might be interested in.
We are committed to complying with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. Information provided when entering our competition may be shared within our group, but will not be sold or distributed to third parties without your consent.

Jurisdiction
The rules are governed by English law and any dispute with regard to the rules, their content or interpretation shall be governed by the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
