The Pound has started the day fairly flat as the markets struggle to get moving after the Easter break.

We see a fairly quiet week ahead for data from the U.K however the two key figures to be aware of are Trade Balance figures due out of Thursday morning at 09:30am and some inflationary data on Friday too also at 09:30am.

The U.K has had a fairly positive few weeks of late in terms of economic data and it would not surprise me to see this continue in the lead up to key Gross Domestic Product figures due towards the end of the month which will officially confirm whether or not the U.K has just about avoided a double dip recession.
