It looks set to be a busy week in the currency markets with a number of key economic data releases due for release. The most important of these could be the UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures which are due on Wednesday and could show whether the UK is back in recession.
This week we also have housing data for the UK on Tuesday morning and both the Federal Reserve Bank of America and Reserve Bank of New Zealand interest rate decision due on Thursday and finally we will have some European and UK confidence figures on Friday. This all means that we could be in for a volatile week in the currency exchange market.
