This week sees the much anticipated UK budget, and with Sterling exchange rates and the UK economy under pressure this budget will have a lot riding on it, expectations are that the budget will be largely focussed on promoting growth so this Wednesday could have an important impact on the currency markets and Sterling exchange rates.

Also this week we have UK Consumer Price Index and Retail Price Index (both Tuesday morning) which will give an indication as to current inflation levels. Apart from the budget, on Wednesday we also have the Bank of England minutes and UK Public Sector net borrowing both of which could have a significant impact on rates of exchange.

New Zealand Gross Domestic Product is released on Wednesday which could have a big impact on New Zealand Dollar (NZD) rates.
